Be Bold, like Jacob.

Dear Brothers,

Many of you who have participated in the Xtreme Character Challenge (XCC) will remember the powerful moment when we paused on a hillside to listen to Jacob’s story—a story of deep personal struggle and the strength he found in overcoming it. Jacob’s story touched many of us, as you have shared with us.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic news that Jacob passed away in June 2024 while in Portugal. His untimely death has left us all devastated. He leaves behind a remarkable wife and two wonderful boys. As we mourn this loss, we now turn our support to them.

In honour of Jacob, we will be paying tribute to him at his celebration of life with an XCC guard of honour.

One of Jacob’s last messages on Facebook was a call to action, urging everyone he knew to give a little to help a lot. Today, we ask you to honor Jacob's legacy by stepping up to that challenge. Can you help us continue the work that Jacob was so passionate about?

This tragedy has shaken us all, but it also reminds us of the importance of living boldly, just as Jacob did.

Jacob was one of XCC’s most dedicated supporters. He shared his story bravely, sponsored XCC equipment, and encouraged and supported his employees to take part in the challenge. His passion for XCC was unwavering.

In a recent email, Jacob wrote:
“I continue to be a MASSIVE cheerleader for XCC and nothing will stop me raving about it.”
—Jacob Zaccharia, February 2024

Let’s honor Jacob’s memory by continuing the work he believed in so deeply. Your donation to XCC in Jacob's memory will help us by supporting our mission and keeping his spirit alive.

Thank you for your generosity and support.
